airbrushed- pictures are air brushed i.e. digitally manipulated to disort reality .E.g. lengthen legs, remove wrinkles.

anchoring text -textthat gives the pictures.Eg. a picture of a skinny celeb would be anchored by the text -"celebs reavel their problems with food".

aspirational- someone is aspirational when theydream of being richier ,having higher status,being more popular etc. many people aspire to celcbrity lifestyles.

connotations-what something suggests - cultal meaning. for example, pink has feminine connotation and a rose has romantic connotations.

construct-a magazine construct reality i.e. creates ideas that we then take for granted. E.g.
